The National PNH Service, England is renowned worldwide for the expertise in managing patients with PNH. As it is a rare disease, there is a concentration of experience within the Service that cannot be matched elsewhere in the world due to the high numbers of patients managed. The team regularly provide education both in the UK and worldwide to further the knowledge both in terms of diagnosis and management and this has improved patient care worldwide through diagnosis and management. These are meetings to health boards, hospitals, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. We are only able to do much of this with support from the pharmaceutical industry. We additionally provide a consulting service also for development of new therapies to ensure the best possible care for patients in to the future.
